Lebanese Knafeh Na’ameh with Ashta

Knafeh or Kunafeh is a popular classic Mediterranean desert that goes back as far as the 10th century. It is tempting, savoury & stretchy sweet cheese that melts in the mouth.

Lebanese Knafeh Na’ameh with Ashta is made of ground semolina dough filled with Ashta (rich cream), decorated with cream & pistachios  and flavoured with rose & blossom water syrup. 

Note: It does not include sesame seed bun (kaak).
