It all started in the old alleys of Saida, Lebanon in 1952 when Haj Ameen Hijazi founded his first factory of nut roasting and lokoum production. His hard work paid off with seven lines of production that spread from local to national and international. 

 

After 70 years and in 2022, Ameenz became the first shop in Canada to continue Haj Ameen Hijazi’s Legacy. Ameenz is the fruit of hard work , dedication and passion of his grandchildren and a gentleman who worked at his shop when he was 12 years old with a passion held for years.
